DIRECTIONS to View Lighthouse
- Take I-95 Exit 36 (Atlantic Blvd. East—mm36) or Florida turnpike
Exit 67.
- Go East and cross the Intracoastal Waterway, then after the 1st
traffic signal stay in the left lane to Highway A1A.
- Turn left (North), go approximately 2 miles to the Pompano Beach
City Park at the Hillsboro Inlet Bridge's SE corner where there is
an excellent view of the Hillsboro Lighthouse, see #4-5 below.
- To see the lighthouse from the South jetty, go south on Highway
A1A to NE 16th St., turn East to access the beach, then go North
on the beach. It is about 0.4 mile to the South jetty.
DIRECTIONS to Tour the Lighthouse (on scheduled tour dates).
- Take I-95 Exit 36 (Atlantic Blvd. East—mm36) or Florida turnpike
Exit 67.
- Go East and cross the Intracoastal Waterway, then immediately turn
left (North) onto North Riverside Drive
- Then go one block to the Pompano Beach City parking lot on the
right
- Park and go West across Riverside Drive to the dock, see #1-3 below.
